Mede8er heeft versie 3.0.4 uitgebracht van de firmware voor zijn MED500X-mediaspeler. Op het GoT loopt over deze mediaspeler een onderwerp, waarin meer informatie kan worden gevonden en meningen kunnen worden gedeeld. Nieuw in versie 3.0 zijn onder andere een opgefriste gebruikersinterface en de mogelijkheid om cover-art te gebruiken voor videobestanden. Verder worden media die al zijn bekeken van een markering voorzien. In versie 3.0.4 zijn de volgende verbeteringen aangebracht:
