Mede8er heeft een update uitgebracht voor versie 4.0 van de firmware voor de MED400X mini- en MED500X-mediaspelers. Op het GoT loopt over deze mediaspeler een topic, waarin meer informatie kan worden gevonden en meningen kunnen worden gedeeld. Nieuw in versie 4.0 zijn onder andere een opgefriste gebruikersinterface, ondersteuning voor Dolby True HD en DTS MA passthrough, en verbeterde streaming-prestaties.
