Software-update: CDBurnerXP 4.3.2 build 2140

Zaterdag is versie 4.3.2 build 2140 van CDBurnerXP uitgekomen. Met dit programma kunnen cd's, dvd's, hd-dvd's en blu-ray-schijfjes worden beschreven. Daarnaast kunnen ook iso-bestanden worden gecreëerd en gebrand. De software is gratis voor zowel privé- als commercieel gebruik, geschikt voor Windows 2000 en hoger, en te gebruiken in een groot aantal talen, waaronder Nederlands. De download is iets meer dan 4MB groot, maar het programma heeft wel het .NET Framework nodig om zijn werk te kunnen doen. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen zien:

New features:

• Option to save an audio compilation as cue sheet
• Added option -udf
• Option to save an audio compilation as M3U playlist

Changed/improved features:

• TITLE and PERFORMER information in Cue sheets is now used for CD-Text
• Optimisation: Omit processing of cue sheet tracks which are added as a whole
• Warning about adding duplicate tracks to audio compilations (especially when using playlists and single files in combination)
• Do not show error messages for eject failures
• Allow reordering of columns in the audio track list

Fixed bugs:

• Fixed: Cancel did not work properly during "reading from source" when copying a disc
• Fixed: "Audio player" menu item may get out of sync with audio player state
• Fixed: Double clicking an item in the startup dialog alters the clipboard content (workaround)
• Fixed: Burning mixed mode discs is not possible
• Fixed a FormatExcpetion when using the Arabic translation
• More fault tolerant language setting
• Fixed: Command line version does not correctly create folders on discs
• Fixed: Unreadable error messages in low contrast mode

CDBurner XP kan niet overweg met branders in AHCI-modus, er zijn dan "geen ondersteunde stations". Eerder al gemeld. Het forum van CDBurner XP biedt ook niet echt een oplossing

Had ik ook. Op de site staat dat je in dat geval de Intel Matrix Storage Manager moet installeren (of de nieuwe IRST).

No CD/DVD drive was detected on this system
Make sure that you either have administrative rights, or you chose to “provide CD/DVD access to any user” when installing CDBurnerXP. If the option in setup did not help, you can also try using NeroBurnRights.
Most of the time, if a drive is not detected properly, depending on your chipset, it helps to install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager or the RAID drivers for AMD chipsets.
Another option is to update the firmware of your drive.
If all else fails, you might want to check KB:929461 or try to disable the AHCI mode. Also, go to the forums and have a look if anyone else had your problem before and if they found a solution.

Kan dit pakket ook branden op 1 speed?
Heb nog geen enkel pakket gevonden die daar naar luistert. meestal springen die naar 8 speed. en dat wil ik niet. (dit ivm, tijdcode cd's)

Bij mij op mijn oude NEC1300, brandt ie op:
2, 4, 8, 12 en 16 speed, is dat een antwoord op je vraag?
nee niet letterlijk, maar het geeft je een inzicht!

Vind hem sinds 4.2.6 prima werken. Eerdere versies waren ook wel ok, maar de burning library gebruikte 100% (1 core) tijdens branden. Dat is er nu gelukkig uit. Dat ik nu een vinkje uit moet zetten, no problemo.

Wat is het probleem? Ben blij dat mensen HUN tijd gaan steken zodat jij GRATIS gebruik kunt maken van hun brouwsel. Niemand verplicht je om elke update te gebruiken.

grappig dat de 'download' in de rechter kolom de 32 bit versie met ask toolbar levert en niet de 'standaard' msi download...
