Softland heeft dinsdag versie 4.1 van Backup4all uitgebracht. Met dit programma kan een backup worden gemaakt naar een andere locatie op de harde schijf, een netwerkdrive, een ftp-server (met ondersteuning voor ssl-versleuteling, proxyservers en passive mode), een cd of dvd, of een externe drive, zoals bijvoorbeeld een usb-stick. De software is verkrijgbaar in de smaken Lite, Standaard en Professional, met prijzen tussen de 20 en 45 dollar. De onderlinge verschillen worden op deze pagina uitgebreid uit de doeken gedaan.
In versie 4.1 is onder andere de mogelijkheid toegevoegd om een backup weg te schrijven op een blu-ray-, hd-dvd- of dubbellaags dvd-schijf. Daarnaast wordt de plugin om een backup van Microsoft Outlook te maken nu automatisch mee-geïnstalleerd en zijn er de nodige optimalisaties en bugfixes doorgevoerd.
