Softland heeft versie 5.4 van Backup4all uitgebracht. Met dit programma kan een backup worden gemaakt naar een andere locatie op de harde schijf, een netwerkdrive, een ftp-server met ondersteuning voor ssl-versleuteling, proxyservers en passieve mode, een cd of dvd, of een externe drive, zoals een usb-stick. Door middel van plug-ins kunnen ook de bestanden van ruim honderd specifieke applicaties worden veiliggesteld. De software is verkrijgbaar in de smaken Lite, Standaard en Professional, met prijzen tussen de twintig en vijftig dollar. De onderlinge verschillen worden op deze pagina uitgebreid uit de doeken gedaan. De release notes voor deze uitgave zien er als volgt uit:
