Maandag is versie 0.10.1 van PS3 Media Server uitgekomen. Dit programma is een in Java geschreven dlna-compliant UPnP Media Server voor Sony's PlayStation 3. PS3 Media Server is beschikbaar voor Windows, Linux en Mac OS X en maakt het mogelijk om audio en video naar de PS3 te streamen. Meer informatie over de mogelijkheden van dit programma is te vinden op deze pagina, die ook enkele screenshots toont. Nieuw is deze release is onder andere ondersteuning voor DTS-streaming, zodat het niet meer nodig is om bestanden eerst naar een ac3- of pcm-indeling om te vormen. Ook is de mencoder-engine verbeterd en kan deze nu automatisch wisselen tussen muxing of full video transcoding. Het volledige changelog van deze versie ziet er als volgt uit:
