Opera heeft een nieuwe versie van zijn gelijknamige internetbrowser uitgebracht en deze rugnummer 9.64 gegeven. Opera is gratis te gebruiken en bevat features als tabbed browsing, een pop-up blocker en een e-mailprogramma met spamfilter. Downloads zijn beschikbaar in 39 verschillende talen en voor de besturingssystemen Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Freebsd en Solaris. Versie 9.64 bevat een groot aantal veranderingen die de veiligheid en stabiliteit ten goede komen. Daarnaast treffen we in deze release ook versie 2.1.1 van de Opera Presto user agent engine aan.
