Dominik Reichl heeft zijn opensource-passwordmanager Keepass Password Safe voorzien van een update naar versie 1.15. Dit programma kan accounts opslaan met de bijbehorende gegevens, zoals gebruikersnaam, wachtwoord en url. Alle gegevens worden veilig in een met aes- en Twofish-versleutelde database opgeslagen. Zodoende hoef je nog slechts één hoofdwachtwoord te onthouden voor al je accounts. Keepass Password Safe kan ook automatisch wachtwoorden genereren, lijsten importeren en exporteren, en is er een geavanceerde zoekfunctie.
De belangrijkste verbetering in deze release betreft het plugin-systeem. Dit heeft meer functionaliteit gekregen, is sneller en gebruikt ook nog eens minder geheugen. Daarnaast is het vanaf nu niet meer nodig om bij een nieuwe versie van het hoofdprogramma ook alle plugins te vervangen, wat voorheen wel nodig was. - Added KeeForceAllowChangeMasterKey, KeeForceAllowPrinting, KeeForceAllowImport and KeeForceAllowExport configuration options (these override the option to disable unsafe operations and the mini mode setting; they are only loaded from the enforced and global INI files, not the local one)
- Added KeeDisallowPrintingPasswords configuration option to disallow printing passwords and viewing them in the print preview
