Apple heeft een nieuw versie van iPhoto uitgebracht. Het programma maakt deel uit van iLife '08 en is aangekomen bij versienummer 7.1.2. Met behulp van dit programma kan je foto's overzetten van een digitale camera naar de Mac. Daarna kunnen ze ingedeeld en bewerkt worden, en het resultaat is via je eigen .Mac-account op verschillende manieren te gebruiken, zoals in een fotoboek of op een wenskaart. Impact: Subscribing to a maliciously crafted photocast may lead to arbitrary code execution
Description: A format string vulnerability exists in iPhoto. By enticing a user to subscribe to a maliciously crafted photocast, a remote attacker may cause arbitrary code execution. This update addresses the issue through improved handling of format strings when processing photocast subscriptions.
