Software-update: Jetico Personal Firewall 2.0.1.4

Het Finse Jetico heeft een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van zijn Personal Firewall met 2.0.1.4 als het versienummer. Het programma kan op low-level niveau netwerkpakketten filteren op bijvoorbeeld bron, eindbestemming, adressering en gebruikte protocollen. Daarnaast kan er op applicatieniveau worden gefilterd zodat netwerkverkeer per programma in de gaten gehouden wordt. Het programma kan als service geïnstalleerd worden zodat het actief is voordat een gebruiker inlogt en wordt geleverd met een aantal templates voor veel gebruikte programma's zoals Skype en Bittorrent. De lijst met veranderingen sinds de vorige vermelding in de Meuktracker ziet er als volgt uit:

Hoeveel meerwaarde heeft dit t.o.v. de standaard firewal in vista64?

ik gebruikte deze altijd sinds ik een router heb echt top lekker ligt vooral

Ik zou wel een firewall willen hebben die voor alle clients vanaf 1 punt te beheren is.
En dan bedoel ik niet die van Windows of zo'n zuigende variant die gewoon je systeem platlegt.

Dan moet je een firewall server bouwen of een hardware matige firewall kopen

OT: Op zich best een aardig progsel. K heb em bij zowel pa als ma op de pc geïnstalleerd, en ingesteld, en t doet z'n werk, niks meer niks minder.
En verbruikt weinig resources
