Adium X is gisteren voorzien van een update naar versie 1.2.1. Adium X is een multiprotocol instantmessaging programma voor Mac OS X die een verbinding kan maken met de netwerken van onder meer Jabber, ICQ, .NET Messenger Service en Bonjour. In versie 1.2, die twee weken geleden het levenlicht gezien heeft, is een groot aantal veranderingen doorgevoerd. Maar liefst 188 tickets met feature requests of bug reports werden tijdens de ontwikkeling gesloten. Enkele van de belangrijkste veranderingen zijn verbeterde mogelijkheden voor het beheren van accounts en zijn de Jabber-ondersteuning, de group chat (conferencing) en de lokalisering (vertaling) sterk verbeterd. Versie 1.2.1 is een zogenaamde onderhoudsrelease die enkele onvolkomenheden uit de vorige release moet oplossen. Verder is het geheugengebruik afgenomen en de Applescript dictionary verbeterd. - Fixed the menu bar status item's account menu, which could previously display the contact menu instead in some cases
- Fixed the Address Book scripts and the %_statusMessage script to work with Adium 1.2
- Fixed issues with Jabber certificate checking
- Fixed a crash when a Jabber account was set to automatically accept authorization requests
- Worked around a bug connecting to old OpenFire servers since Adium 1.2
- Fixed a crash after showing an authorization request window and then disconnecting
- Fixed the 'Always show this contact regardless of status' setting for contacts in the Get Info window
- Fixed missing carriage returns when copying from some message styles
- Fixed linkification of IP addresses on 10.5
- Fixed determination of the song title when playing a stream in iTunes
- Fixed ampersands in HTML links
- Added the Add Bookmark toolbar item to the default toolbar
- Stopped obnoxious flickering of the mouse cursor after sending a message
- Fixed manual reordering when not showing contact list groups
- Fixed filenames created by dragging out of image wells when the contact's name starts with a period
