Niet alleen Firefox en Thunderbird zijn van een update voorzien, ook hun voormalige grote broer SeaMonkey heeft een update voor zijn kiezen gekregen, namelijk naar versie 1.1.3. SeaMonkey is een webbrowser, e-mailclient, irc-chatprogramma en html-editor, dat tot 10 maart 2005 als Mozilla Application Suite door het leven ging. Sinds die datum wordt het pakket echter onderhouden en verder ontwikkeld door een groep vrijwilligers. De Mozilla Foundation draagt echter wel zijn steentje bij in de vorm van hosting en assistentie bij het vastleggen van trademarks.
Aangezien het programma gebaseerd is op dezelfde engine als Firefox en Thunderbird, heeft SeaMonkey last van dezelfde bugs: de problemen met betrekking tot Internet Explorer moeten met het installeren van deze nieuwe SeaMonkey-versie opgelost zijn, al kunnen andere applicaties wel kwetsbaar blijven als Internet Explorer niet van een update voorzien wordt. Een andere veiligheidsfix die in deze SeaMonkey-release is terug te vinden, is die waarmee een geheugencorruptiebug voorkomen wordt. Het volledige changelog ziet er als volgt uit:
