OnyX is een programma om het besturingssysteem Mac OS X te onderhouden, te optimaliseren en te personaliseren. Het kan daarnaast ook een aantal verborgen instellingen aanpassen van Finder, Dock en Safari en verschillende logbestanden bekijken. De ontwikkelaars van Titanium Software hebben versie 1.7.1 naar buiten gebracht die minimaal Mac OS X 10.4 of recenter nodig heeft. De volgende veranderingen zijn aangebracht:
Version 1.7.1:
- Deletes the content of Metadata folder while cleaning the user caches

- Shows/hides the Customize Toolbar... item in the View menu of Finder
- Shows/hides the View Options item in the View menu of Finder
- Displays percentage of disk space used in the Info panel
- AppleScript Error - Can't obtain "class bhit" of 1. (-1728) - corrected
- Correction of the progress bar freezed while display a message in the Login window
- AppleScript Error - rm: /Users/... : Permission denied (1) - corrected
