Op de site van Tyan heeft mysterieworld een nieuw BIOS gevonden voor de Thunder K8WE-moederbord met het typenummer S2895. De update heeft versienummer 1.03 meegekregen en kan door te klikken op deze link gedownload worden. In BIOS-versie 1.03 heeft Tyan onder meer de ondersteuning van AMD's PowerNow-technologie verbeterd en een aantal bugs uit de code gehaald met betrekking tot de aansturing van SCSI-hardware. - Fix CPU temp offset has not been programmed properly problem by reverse the Offset programmed on both CPU.
- Empty CPU socket will now report no temperature
