Tyan heeft voor zijn moederborden van het type Thunder K8WE (S2895) een nieuw BIOS uitgebracht met 1.05 als het versienummer. Het moederbord is gebaseerd rond nVidia nForce pro 2200 en pro 2050 chips en biedt plaats aan twee AMD Opteron 200-serie processors met een Socket-940-voetje. De lijst met veranderingen ziet er als volgt uit:
