AMD heeft nieuwe Linux-drivers voor zijn ATI Radeon-videokaarten uitgebracht. De download is 82,6MB groot en kan zowel voor 32bit- als 64bit-omgevingen worden gebruikt. Versie 9.4 van de Linux Display Driver kan overweg met versies 6.8 tot en met 7.4 van X.org, Linux-kernel 2.6 en hoger en glibc 2.2 en 2.3. Deze release voegt ondersteuning toe voor Red Hat Enterprise Linux versie 5.3 en voor de binnenkort te verschijnen versie 9.04 van Ubuntu.
