After visiting many great water-cooled project pages I decided it was my turn to give it a try. The only problem was that I did not like the idea of having a big fish tank outside of my computer. It did not look very pleasing, so I decided that MY water-cooled project was going to be different that the rest of the gang. First I had to decide on the case for the project. This was not as easy as it sounds.

Sony talking to Citrix about Playstation licence

Sources said that Citrix is in talks to licence its technology to Sony for the Playstation platform.

If the talks succeed, it could mean that you will be able to run your favourite Window apps on the Playstation and even do print and operations on Playstation II because it will have USB and FireWire connectivity.

Citrix software has a very small footprint and it would be possible to connect to a virtual NT server on the Internet.

Neither Citrix nor Sony were prepared to comment at press time.

Let me also stress an opinion here that should also influence your selection of your next racing controller. Microsoft develops DirectX which is used in most every game produced these days. Within DirectX resides the Direct Feedback module that most developers utilize to implement force feedback. Only two force feedback wheels currently on the market are completely compatible with the Direct feedback module. They are the Microsoft SideWinder Wheel and the Saitek racing wheel. This is going to make a difference like it or not. Despite the claims to the contrary, the I-force based controllers are not completely compatible with the Direct Feedback API and I highly doubt that Microsoft will allow them to ever be.

Michael van Anandtech heeft een review over deze speakers geschreven. Ze zien er wel goed uit, maar ze hebben een best wel foute geluidskwaliteit.

With that in mind, it seems reasonable that Kenwood's foray into the multimedia speaker market would produce a product with similar advantages - quality good enough for most people at a reasonable price. Currently, two computer speaker sets are available from Kenwood - the CL-701 and CL-501. The CL-701 is a three piece speaker set consisting of a subwoofer and two satellites. The CL-501 features essentially the same set of satellites without a subwoofer. The most important thing to keep in my mind when buying an audio equipment is that your ears are always the best judge because everyone has different musical tastes. Keep that in mind while reading speaker reviews and, if at all possible, listen to any speakers before making a purchasing decision.
