PowerStrip 2.64 is now available for downloading, with improved Windows 2000 support for those of you who have, within a couple of hours after the official release of the new OS, grown tired of waiting for updated drivers and utilities from your board manufacturer. Direct hardware support - including clock controls, custom refresh rates, gamma correction and screen adjustment - is available for all supported chips, and driver switches (vsync etc.) are now implemented for 3dfx, 3dlabs, ATI, and NVidia (OpenGL only). For Windows 9x/ME users, this is the first release of the PowerStrip to include desktop icon management, along with a more efficient multi-threaded application launcher. Also, visual controls are now provided for AGP configuration: transfer rate can be safely changed, and sidebanding and fast writes can be enabled, on-the-fly without restarting Windows or mucking around in the registry.
