GA-Source denkt ons te mogen verblijden met een review van de Diamond Viper II. Niet de snelste kaart, maar wel redelijk sympathiek geprijst en met interessante features zoals S3TC en T&L (wanneer 't gefixt is):
The Viper II definitely has some potential, and the price is right. The thing to recall is that the Savage 2000 is not meant to be a competitor to the GeForce cards, but rather be reasonably priced high powered feature rich video card. In my opinion it works out to being worthy competitor to the Ultra TNT/2s. It definitely fits that spot well both performance and price wise, and I would definitely prefer having the Viper II in my machine than any of the Ultra TNT/2s available. If you are looking for the ultimate in performance, then this is not your best bet in cards. If you are looking for a feature rich reasonably fast card that is available for below $150 mail order, then the Viper II fits the bill.
