Q: Vince, A thought: VIA is sending reviewers the chipset in a microATX formfactor board. What might the MS X-box use?A: Interesting comment. You may remember that Chris Tom from slota.com had this to say about the kx133 he tested:
"also, the first board i recieved was damaged, and would not display video, it came all the way from taiwan so that can be expected. i recieved this board yesterday, and thankfully it worked, with so far one problem that i was able to work around. that explains why you don't see more tests. i was slated to get a replacement sooner, but microsoft grabbed all of the boards they had up. via has been very helpful"
Also, I listened to the Activision conf. call yesterday and while the company is under a NDA, they were able to confirm they are developing for the X-Box.
