Creative has also just announced the Nomad 2, the successor to the very successful Nomad MP3 player. The Nomad 2 features a larger display and upgradeable firmware to support future music standards.Aureal had their new line of speakers (sub/sat) on display. According to the rep, these were announced in August, but have been delayed as they're still tweaking. These things are pretty serious; the drivers are very high quality and cost a lot more than the drivers in probably any other multimedia speaker out there. A lot of care has gone into choosing the proper crossover points between the subs and satellites; the crossovers actually reside in the subwoofer cabinet so Aureal doesn't have to skimp on them because of size. The satellites themselves are biwired (the midrange and high drivers are wired separately) for better sound. Pricing is yet to be determined, but should be very reasonable for what you're getting.
