Ik liep bij Voodoo Extreme tegen deze twee interessante stukjes uit het Comdex report van Firingsquad. Lekkere rivaliteit heerst daar tussen 3dfx en nVidia

During the course of the meeting, 3dfx's Brian Burke managed to get a glimpse at our schedule for the day, and our next meeting just happened to be with Nvidia. At the end of the meeting, Brian tried his best to get us to stay longer. He offered us drinks from their well-stocked bar, and invited us to make sandwiches and just hang out, "Nvidia isn't going to offer you any of this stuff."A few pages later...
We asked Derek about the possibility of Nvidia's next-gen being a multi-chip design, and he immediately responded that it would be a whole new architecture: no multiple chips here. By this time, we had to leave for our next meeting. Sometime during the meeting one of us had put down one of our 3dfx backpacks, but it had accidentally fallen down with the logo side up. When Derek caught sight of the logo, he quickly flipped the bag over with his foot - we'll have none of that in Nvidia's house. =] Who wants to bet we'll be seeing representatives from 3DFX and nVidia throwing chairs at each other on "Jerry Springer" sometime soon?
