The stylish, translucent player includes a specific slot for CompactFlash Type II and also acts as a digital voice recorder with a built in speaker and microphone.SanDisk will display i2Go's eGo MP3 player at the Fall '99 COMDEX trade show in Las Vegas, NV, Nov. 15-19 (SanDisk booth: Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, L-1509).
The player is bundled with i2Go MP3 Agent software which allows consumers to drag-n-drop MP3 links from the web in an embedded browser for scheduled or immediate download. The MP3 Agent software also includes a managing feature for local and web-synchronized play lists. With each unit sold, i2Go will include a USB cable, two ``AA'' batteries, car windshield bracket, cassette stereo adapter, cigarette lighter power adapter, belt clip and stereo earphones. With a built-in USB high-speed connection, consumers can easily transfer audio files to the CompactFlash card from Windows® based PCs. Other features include multiple play list storage and management. With the i2Go interactive digital audio player, the consumer has the option to purchase a 32 megabyte (MB), 64MB or 96MB SanDisk CompactFlash memory card.
