This is probably the most important thing to worry about to get the maximum airflow in your case to cool down to ambient temperature the best. On this case I use, I got creative and cut cable holes next to the motherboard to run the cables from the SCSI card I use to remove the cables from within the case to the outside of the case. Now most of you are using your EIDE connections on your motherboard simply because SCSI isn't really that cheap. For this method you can cut the slots next to the connections of the motherboard and run them on the backside of the computer case as you see in my example with the SCSI controller. Or you can just tape the cable ribbons to the side of the interior of the computer case as well. But make sure that the cables are not in the way of any fans you put in the case.
