There is a _HUGE_ hype about the high-res textures and 32 bits colors on the TNT chipset. From what I've seen, this isn't really such a big deal. I found that there's no significant difference when you're playing a game. Don't get me wrong here, I still want 32 bits colors and super-duper textures but that's not a reason to buy a videocard IMHO. Another thing wich is often neglected is the 2D image quality. The Voodoo3 offers outstanding colors and sharpness on my trusty trinitron monitor but the TNT2 M64 seems to cast a weird, butt-ugly, color-blurring filter on my desktop. I bet this is a driver issue so let's see something done about this ok nVIDIA ?! If you've ever seen a Matrox card at 2D then you know there is a SERIOUS difference with other cards. A cool feature of the TNT2 M64 is that it automatically alti-aliases (almost) everything in Direct3D ! My conclusion : TNT2 M64 looks a little better at 3D but the Voodoo3 looks _MUCH_ better at 2D.
