We could overclock our 2000 from 143MHz to 175MHz for a 22% gain, but we needed to point a fan directly at the video card. The card worked fine at 166MHz with the standard heatsink and thermal pad. We could squeeze the performance of a V3 3000 out of our 2000 right out of the box.Our V3 3000 could overclock 10% up to 183MHz, but we had to replace the thermal pad with thermal compound and add a fan to make the card stable. The card was fine at 175MHz with the standard cooling options.
The V3 3500 also needed a shot of thermal compound and a fan to get up to 212MHz. The 29MHz translates to a %16 speed increase.
