The Hollywood Plus provided stunning image quality on my 27" television, and the sound quality was remarkable. It was far superior to VHS, and justified my purchase of the card immediately. After basking in the splendor of DVD on the television for awhile, I tested the playback out on the monitor. The image was stunning, making me realize just how poor the quality of analog television is. When viewing DVD movies on a computer monitor or on a digital television, the experience reaches a new height. At 1280x1024 full screen on my 17" Trinitron monitor, I was truely amazed at how clear and crisp the image was compared with the VHS image on an analog television.
