Op Alienware hebben ze een lijstje gemaakt met welke games we nog mogen verwachten dit jaar. Aangezien we van de meeste games vrijwel alles weten heb ik hier 2 games neergegooid waar we (haast) niks over gehoord hebben:
Half-Life: Opposing Force: The official Half-Life mission pack is the first game from Gearbox Software, made up of many of the members of Rebel Boat Rocker, the developers of the aborted Prax War. The game itself will give the player a chance to look at the events in the original game from the perspective of one of the soldiers that you had to fight in Half-Life. Look for this game to come out in the fall.
Even though there are a ton of games still to come this year, developers are already looking to 2000 to release other products, like 3DRealms' Duke Nukem Forever, Remedy's Max Payne, Cavedog's Amen: The Awakening, Raven's Star Trek Voyager:Elite Force, and Ritual's Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K. 2. So save your money and keep that mouse and keyboard warm.
System Shock 2: Looking Glass has a major hit on its hand with Thief: The Dark Project in 1998. Now it moves on to create the sequel to one of the most beloved computer games of all time. Look for the mix of action, storytelling and role playing to continue in this cyberpunk style thriller. The game looks to be released sometime in 1999.
