Bij Voodoo3.net vind je een review van de Tennmax Stealth Voodoo3 Fighter Cooler. Zoals de naam doet vermoeden gaat het hier om een koeler voor op je V3. Ook als je niet geïnteresseerd bent in het ding zelf, dan is het altijd nog interessant om te zien hoeveel goede koeling kan helpen bij het overklokken van een videokaart:
Originally, I had my Voodoo3 3000 running at 181mhz with just the Super Slot Fan. I took out the Super Slot Fan and brought the Graphics Clock Speed back down to 166mhz(default speed). I restarted the computer with the V3 running at 175mhz. It ran fine and without a problem. Then, I cranked it up to 180mhz. Not a problem at all. By saying, "it ran fine" or "not a problem at all" meant that I was able to play 3D Accelerated games for an hour each. I played Quake 3(test), The Drakan Demo, and NFS3. I then went on to crank it up to 184mhz. No problems there either. I pushed it up to 188mhz and that was great. I was able to slightly see a better performance out of the Voodoo3. A big thanks goes to David at VE for killing me over and over again in Quake 3. It sure did look nice though!! After mastering 188mhz, I went for 191mhz. That was the ideal speed. I went for 192mhz, but it would not go any farther.
