Hardware Extreme heeft een artikel genaamd Why Intel (KNI) will beat AMD (K7) met een vergelijking tussen KNI en 3DNow:
"Another fact is that KNI definitely will beat 3DNow. One advantage of Intel is that they (of course!) have examined K6-2 processors with 3DNow and fully know its good and weak points. AMD, Cyrix and WinChip were the first to introduce new instructions to the x86 line, which was always dominated by Intel. Although 3DNow is getting more and more supported, it is absolutely no standard to game developers. It would be if hardware producers would give more support to 3DNow. Until now the Matrox G200 is the only graphic card that does that. Although 3DNow will be almost a year more on the market when KNI launches, the 3D market is still open and not dominated..."
