There are a few TNT cards out there but none with the options and design of the Spectra. The reverse pass-through of the card performed flawlessly and provided the ability to play any game (Glide, OpenGL, Direct3D) on a big screen TV with a combination of the Spectra and any Voodoo 2 card. The quick control feature really eases the hassle of adjusting picture image without quitting your current game or application. While a tag of $199 without a bundle does seem a little steep, Canopus does provide great performance with unique features that really make this card stand out among the pack. If you’re looking for great 2D and 3D performance, go with a TNT card. If you want the Ferrari of the TNT cards with all the extras, go with the Canopus Spectra 2500.
