Epox EP-4T2A is more than a good motherboard. Like most motherboards based on i850 out there it doesn't provide surprising overclocking features or a very easy hardware free setup. But we should consider that Pentium 4 motherboards should be used in mission critical appliances and overclocking is not an option in these media. Pentium 4 has an overclocking potential but if you want to overclock you would better buy a 150$ CPU which overclocks better and doesn't expose you to the risk of a 400$ loss. Anyway our Epox motherboard was able to run for 40 hours overclocked and no problem occurred. It is a very stable motherboard and it provides good expansion. It's hard to tell you that benchmarks impressed me in any way, but that's the problem of the industry not of the EP-4T2A. With Intel release of the 0.13 micron Pentium 4 (Northwood) we can expect greater performance and higher clock speeds. Unfortunately the compatibility with the actual socket won't be preserved since Northwood will use the smaller socket 478. But until further Pentium 4 releases there are certain areas where Pentium 4 needs to be considered.
If you are shopping for a Pentium 4 motherboard I recommend you EP-4T2A because it proves a good quality, good documentation, good expansion, excellent stability and the Epox support.
