De russen van Digit-Life hebben een review online gezet over een tweetal bijzondere planken van AOpen, de Black Beauty en de Sweet Kiss. Voornaamste feature van deze planken is de kleur, het Sweet Kiss moederbord is roze (!) gekleurd en de Black Beaty is zoals de naam al doet vermoeden zwart. Daarnaast hebben beide moederborden een heatsink in een bijpassende kleur.
De Black Beauty is een Socket 370 moederbord gebaseerd op de Via Apollo 133A chipset. De plank is verder uitgerust met 6 PCI, 1 AMR, 1 AGP en 4 DIMM sloten. Het Sweet Kiss is ook een Socket 370 moederbord welk gebouwd is rond de i815E chipset. Deze plank is uitgerust met 5 PCI, 1 AMR, 1 AGP en 3 DIMM sloten. Volgens de reviewer blinken beide planken niet uit op het gebied van overclock functionaliteit of snelheid, maar wat je wel krijgt is een zeer bijzonder stukje PCB

It is now possible to draw some final conclusions of today's testing - the boards are undoubtfully good, as well as the whole exclusive product line from AOpen, though we can't say we get the highest perfomance or vast tweaking possibilities for our money, but some additional dollars spent for these boards, comparing to generally average boards, will obviously satisfy the buyer. And speaking about perfoamnce - the variant for ladies shows better results as always, not because of the pink color, but because of the chipset. That's right, children and women must get all the best thingsAnd about the pink and black color of boards - it is pleasant to understand, that you own the thing that isn't own by many, so to say - here's the individuality previously impossible to express via computer interiors
