All in all, Macpower has done an awesome job improving the popular Digital Doc line of products and this latest revision says it all. Better frame structure for use with drive rails, new beefed-up PCB design and support for the ever popular 120mm fans makes this unit a must-have for overclockers and modders alike. No more use of resource-hogging softwares just to know the temperature of your CPU or if your fans are working or not. All it needs is a quick glance, or maybe a few button presses away. Although it has it's downsides, I'm pretty sure Macpower is already back to the drawing board designing and improving the unit further. The price for this unit will range between US$70 - US$90. It's a bit pricey and not for everyone I guess, but if you need a hardware-based device for temperaure and fan monitoring, you simply can't go wrong with the Digital Doc 5! Plus it looks cool too on your PC!
