Sharky Extreme heeft een review geschreven over de Hercules 3D Prophet II GTS 64MB. Deze kaart is voorzien van 64MB DDR geheugen op 333MHz terwijl de core zijn werk doet op 200MHz. Het exemplaar dat Sharky toegestuurd kreeg liep echter op een nóg hogere snelheid maar was niet stabiel:
Interestingly enough, our 64MB sample came clocked at 220/365MHz instead of the advertised 200/333MHz. Whether or not Hercules purposely sent out a "Golden Sample" is up for debate, but the bottom line is the card wasn't stable at the shipping frequency in the first place.All of our benchmarking was conducted after "down-clocking" the card back to 200/333MHz. We expected similar performance between GeForce 2 boards, and that is exactly what we were served. It is obvious that there will not be any purchasing decisions based on speed, since the differences are negligible. Simply put, any of the GeForce 2-based cards will deliver the highest performance available.
The TV-out on the 3D Prophet II gives Guillemot the edge as far as value is concerned, as does an excellent DVD decoder to take advantage of the GeForce 2s motion compensation feature.
