De snelheid van de blijft nog wat achter bij de snelste CD rewriters: 24X CD, 4X DVD, 6X CD-R en 4X CD-RW. If you are looking for an all in one solution, this is probably the best drive for you! AOpen has again produced a superior product which more than lives up to its quoted specifications! I would highly recommend this drive to anyone! I will grant you it is not the fastest kid on the block, but writing at 6X is not too bad if you consider all the other technology packed into the drive! As I don't know the price for this unit, you could possibly get a DVD-ROM/CD-RW 2 drive combo, but I am willing to bet that AOpen has priced their unit at a very competitive price and you will be hard pressed to find a better deal in the price category.The software package is a very nice collection of useful applications, especially easy for the novice user to jump right in and start things going. The only part I don't like again is the MP3/Media Player package which serves its purpose for the novice, yet will allow more power users to download and use the software they prefer such as Winamp. DVD and CD playback at quoted spec, plus 6X CD-RO and 4X CD-RW in one package, what more could a techie ask for?

en hier istie dan, te koop is ie ook al in nederland. Ik vraag me alleen af of je de scsi snelheid nodig hebt, hij is namelijk alleen in scsi model op dit moment bij Aopen. Lijkt mij dat branden altijd langzamer zal zijn dan lezen.... dusse, ik bedoel. Ik heb momenteel geen scsi controller en ben tevreden met IDE, dus graag een met IDE.. Aopen
