Once again, ABIT has delivered the goods with the KT7. Of all the Socket A motherboards we've tested, the KT7 offers the best combination of price, performance, and stability.
Just look at the situation, you can spend a few dollars less and pick up a K7T Pro from MSI, but then you wouldn't be able to adjust the clock multiplier of your processor. You could go with the ASUS A7V, but then you wouldn't have the ATA/100 RAID or the awesome SoftMenu III interface for overclocking your processor. Keep in mind that we still haven't discussed the superior performance of the KT7, or the future-proof design ABIT has implemented with their 3-phase power solution.
Basically, any way you slice it, the KT7 is a kick-ass motherboard. Sure, it may not have the bells and whistles of an MSI motherboard, but its got it where it counts the most -- in system performance. Here at FiringSquad, the tweaking ability and 3D performance offered by the KT7 means a lot to us. Enough to give the KT7 a 96% score and our Editor's Choice Award.
Congratulations ABIT, your competitors raised the bar with their KT133 motherboards, but you've done it once again!
