Kyle van HardOCP heeft een stukkie info geschreven over de Abit KT7 Socket A moederbord waarvan je eerder vandaag al de press release kon lezen. Waarschijnlijk de belangrijkste feature van deze KT133 plank is de mogelijk om de multiplier te unlocken zoals de Asus A7V dat ook kan. De KT7 heeft volgens Kyle een release date van midden augustus gevolgd door een ATA-100 RAID versie in september. Hieronder de info en een nudie van dit bordje:

The KT7 Socket A board will in fact have the ability to change the multiplier of a TBird or Duron.
As it is planned now, the KT133 chipset will be actively cooled. This is one thing we did touch on in the MSI Socket A Review. The KT133 gets VERY HOT.
This is top-secret stuff here, but it seems also that the ABIT KT7 will be possibly more UPGRADE FRIENDLY down the road. That is all I can say on that, but keep that in the back of your mind when you go to purchase... We should be able to talk about this more when the board gets to the shelves.
The KT7 should be out on the shelves by mid-August with a ATA100/RAID version sometime in September. More free RAID guys!!Here is a pic that I failed to post earlier, sorry.
