While overclocking the card, the highest we were able to reliably get the Prophet II to was a 220Mhz Core with a 350Mhz DDR memory clock. Even though Hercules put heat sinks on the memory chips, I think it's more cosmetic than anything, as DDR doesn't get hot enough to really warrant their use.
[...] Quake 3 was a closer match for the Prophet II and our nVIDIA reference card, with some of the scores only being a couple digits apart. It's interesting to note how the ELSA Gladiac, which is built from a reference card design, didn't quite keep up under most modes with the other two cards.
[...] Kudos to Hercules for bringing us the highest quality GeForce 2 we've tested to date, and we look forward to their 64MB version which should see the light of day around early July. If you can wait till then and have the extra $80.00 or so, then it might be worth the wait, but we won't know for sure until we get our hands on one to test.
