Bij Overclockers Workbench is een korte review te vinden van de K7V, het KX133 moederbord van Asus. Zij zijn niet zo enthousiast over de overclock-mogelijkheden van dit bordje, wel over de snelheid en stabiliteit:
During our overclocking tests, the ASUS K7V failed terribly. It did not even make above 105Mhz at all.
This seems to be the same as the ASUS K7M. Would it be due to the cache divider or could it be the clock generator ?
The ASUS K7V seems to be a good performer. I particularly like the FSB tweaking within the AMI BIOS at 2 Mhz intervals. Voltage can be set from 1.3v to 2.05v.
In general, a well built board which did not overclock well. There aren't any problems so far during the test.
