Kaspersky heeft niet alleen hun Anti-Virus-bètaprogramma een update gegeven, maar ook de Internet Security-software voorzien van een nieuwe versie. Internet Security heeft hetzelfde versienummer meegekregen als Anti-Virus 2006, te weten 6.0.12.168. De update is door te klikken op deze link als installatiebestand te downloaden en neemt als download net geen tien megabyte in beslag. Kaspersky Internet Security tracht de computer te weren van ongewenste indringers, kwaadwillige programma's en spam. Het programma kan actief het systeem scannen, maar het is ook mogelijk om handmatig de scanprocedure te starten. - Flag "enable Outlook/Outlook Express/The Bat! plugins" does not affect the mechanism of moving a letters in the Outlook Express. Select "keep as is" option in the OE plugin's settings window if this behaviour is undesirable.
- Update through proxy server which requires plain autorization works properly only during manual update.
- Anti-Hacker alerts may appear for non-existent applications "HardDiskVolume1", "C:\".
- Unstable work with Norton System Works: Norton Utilities 2005 at the same time.
- Links at main window and Support page does not work under Windows9x.
- Outlook Express mail client may crash during unload.
- Updates from the network shared folder does not work under Windows NT4.
