Software-update: Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2006 6.0.12.168

Op het forum van Kaspersky is een nieuwe bètaversie verschenen van de Anti-Virus 2006-software. Het antivirusprorgamma is aanbeland bij versie 6.0.12.168 en kan via deze FTP-server direct gedownload worden. Deze uitgifte is een bugfixrelease op de vlak daarvoor uitgebrachte 6.0.12.167-release, en kent een achttal veranderingen. In this version some of the 167-build's bugs have been fixed:

1. Outlook Express mail client may crash during unload.
2. Update through proxy server which requires plain autorization works properly only during manual update.
3. Updates from the network shared folder does not work under Windows NT4.
4. Links at main window and Support page does not work under Windows9x.
5. White and Black list in the AntiSpam does not work under Windows NT4.
6. Click on the "Add" button in the AntiSpam settings may lead to crash.
7. In some cases Mail Dispatcher may not delete marked letters.
8. Incorrect display of Help pages in Russian version

NOWN BUGS

1. Context sensitive help has not yet been completely implemented.
2. Some subsystems may work incorrectly under Windows 9x.
3. White list in Proactive defence module is not completed yet so it is possible that alerts will appear during work of non-malicious applications.
4. Certain bugs regarding the Windows Server 2003 are reported.
5. Self-protection module has been implemented with certain limitations.
6. Licensing policy has been partially implemented.
7. Incorrect work on Windows NT4 when logon under the user, entering only in USERS group.
8. It is impossible to add new license key under Windows 9x.
9. Incorrect registration of external plugins after first run of the product under Windows9x is reported, the problem can be fixed by OS reboot.
10. Technology of incremental updates (differences) can fail in certain conditions.
11. If any account have been set for a scan task (Run as) then some scan objects can be missed during scanning.
12. Update through proxy server which requires plain autorization works properly only during manual update.
13. Unstable work with Norton System Works: Norton Utilities 2005 at the same time.
