Ahead heeft versie 6.6.0.8 van Nero Burning ROM uitgebracht. De download is iets meer dan 30MB groot en kan hier worden gevonden. In deze versie is ondersteuning voor LightScribe, een techniek waarmee het mogelijk is om de laser van de brander te gebruiken om een label op de disc te maken. Daarnaast kunnen nu ook dual layer DVD-R schijfjes worden gebakken en zijn er een rits bugs verholpen. Het volledige changelog ziet er als volgt uit:
