NewsMan Pro is bijgewerkt naar versie 1.5.0.2. Met dit programma kan op usenet nieuws worden gelezen en kunnen bestanden worden gedownload. Enkele van de meest in het oog springende features zijn ondersteuning voor meerdere news-servers, maximaal zes gelijktijdige download-verbindingen, en de mogelijkheid om datalimieten te stellen per dag, week of maand. Alleen de gratis versie is beschikbaar voor download. Deze is gelimiteerd tot twee simultane download-verbindingen en ook enkele andere features zijn uitgeschakeld.
