Just Great Software heeft een nieuwe versie van zijn veelzijdige tekst-editor EditPad Pro uitgebracht. Het gaat om versie 5.4.4 en deze kan in de vorm van een evaluatieversie vanaf hier worden neergehaald, gebruikers met een licentie kunnen voor een update op deze pagina terecht. Het programma kan meerdere bestanden tegelijkertijd bewerken en houdt deze via tabs uit elkaar, heeft syntax coloring, een spell checker, kan met hex-bestanden overweg, en is volledig naar eigen wens in te stellen. - Double-clicking a "before and after" clip in the Clip Collection now inserts the clip around the text cursor rather than around the selected text when the cursor is placed away from the selection (only possible with persistent selections enabled).
- Switching back to EditPad after editing the Clip Collection that is open in EditPad with AceText, now keeps the same clip selected in EditPad

- If the Clip Collection is open, and AceText is running, and you open a file in EditPad via Windows Explorer, and that file's type has a default clip collection specified in Options, Preferences, File Types, a harmless error message appeared.
- Switching from another application to EditPad while the Clip Collection pane is visible, and while the Clipboard tab is active in AceText, caused a harmless access violation.
