De ontwikkelaars achter DC++ hebben op Source Forge versie 0.668 van hun programma vrijgegeven. De naam van het programma is simpel te verklaren. Het is namelijk een in C++ geschreven open source P2P-programma voor Windows, waarmee via het Direct Connect-protocol bestanden kunnen worden uitgewisseld.
