Software-update: qBittorrent 5.2.0

Versie 5.2.0 van qBittorrent is verschenen. Deze opensource torrentclient heeft versies voor Windows, Linux en macOS. Het programma wordt met Qt ontwikkeld en is gebaseerd op libtorrent (rasterbar) en Boost. Het programma is het geesteskind van de Fransman Christophe Dumez, die er sinds begin 2006 aan werkt. Tegenwoordig wordt het door de community onderhouden. Er zijn twee downloads beschikbaar. De ene bevat libtorrent 1.2, de andere versie 2.0. Voor de gebruikersinterface wordt van Qt6 gebruikgemaakt, wat betekent dat minimaal Windows 10 vereist is. De changelog voor deze uitgave kan hieronder worden gevonden.

Nice! Eindelijk ook een update voor de MacOS versie. De vorige versie (5.0.5) draait als een zonnetje met een grote library op m’n Mac mini servertje.

Add ability to add/remove tracker from selected torrents

Na tich jaar is het nu dan eindelijk in de WebUI mogelijk

Ik gebruik het sinds een klein jaar in plaats van uTorrent.
uTorrent begon te mieppen dat mijn poort op de router niet open stond, terwijl zo ongeveer alle testen aangaven dat de bewuste poort wel openstond.

Voor de gein dacht ik laat ik eens een andere client proberen, qBittorent dus, en ziedaar, die ziet wel de poort als open.

Ik ben een zeer tevreden gebruiker, en de ingebouwde zoekfunctie werkt ook perfect

Even per ongeluk aan laten staan bij de oosterburen. Voor de tweakers die ook zo'n vergissing maakten, ik ken een uitstekende Anwalt die perfect Engels spreekt en zeer ervaren is in claims van onder andere de firma Frommer. Leergeld dat wel.
