Software-update: OpenRCT2 0.4.25

Versie 0.4.25 van OpenRCT2 is uitgekomen, de opensourceversie van RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. Het project probeert zo veel mogelijk op het origineel te lijken, maar is in een moderne taal geschreven, wat uitbreidingen en verbeteringen mogelijk maakt. Het is hiermee vergelijkbaar met bijvoorbeeld OpenTTD en OpenRA. Om het te kunnen spelen, is het overigens wel noodzakelijk om het originele spel te hebben, want het heeft onder meer geluidsbestanden en de afbeeldingen nodig. De changelog voor deze uitgave, die de naam 'Peeps Falling from Buildings' heeft meegekregen, is hieronder te vinden:

• [#24773] The new ride window debug authors does not show the correct authors for non legacy ride objects.
• [#24775] The scenery and new ride windows do not filter by file name or identifier correctly for non legacy objects.
• [#24777] The stall item preview cycles between all possible colours when random checkbox is ticked.
• [#24794] The load/save browser does not resize cleanly when toggling the preview sidebar.
• [#24824] The Air Powered Vertical Coaster top section track piece has vertical tunnels (original bug).
• [#24825] The River Rapids flat-to-gentle track piece tunnels are incorrect on the gentle side.
• [#24826] The Junior Roller Coaster flat-to-steep track piece tunnels are incorrect.
• [#24829] The pattern of long grass across tiles is different to RCT1 and RCT2.
• [#24831] Park names are being overwritten for custom RCT1 scenarios that use competition id slots.
• [#24838] Not using localized word for conjunction when having multiple shortcuts for the same action.
• [#24841] Fullscreen options do not work correctly with Emscripten.

Het is een cheat, maar dat haalt toch het hele leuke eraf

Echt dikke complimenten aan iedereen dat het project in de lucht houd. Elke release heeft toch weer erg fijne verbeteringen.
