Na de update van Gaim kon een update voor het op Gaim gebaseerde Adium X niet uitblijven. Ook in versie 0.61 is onder andere ondersteuning voor MSN buddy icons en bestandsoverdracht toegevoegd, en is het weer mogelijk om naar het Yahoo-netwerk te verbinden. Verder is het ook mogelijk om met Adium X te chatten op de netwerken van AIM, MSN, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, Trepia en Napster. De instant messenger is met behulp van allerlei extra's aan te passen aan je wensen. Het changelog deelt de volgende wijzigingen mee:
