Voor het synchroniseren en het maken van een backup kan je gebruik maken van SyncBack. Deze applicatie is namelijk instaat om bestanden weg te schrijven naar een locatie op de zelfde schijf, een andere schijf, een ander medium zoals een CD-RW of een CompactFlash-kaartje, een FTP-server of een ZIP-archief. Het ontwikkelteam heeft sinds kort versie 3.1.1.0 uitgebracht met het volgende changelog:
